WHO? Josef! Well, he's Dane to everybody from "The Bells" side of the family. Way back home he's known as "Tisoy" and at school, they called him "Josef". I preferred to address him as Josef in my journal for one and one reason only. And that is.......I don't want the name Dane to be used that much. Little did I know that someone would take interest on it hahaha. Look at this way folks, if I named my son "Bill" and my daughter "Hillary", the first thing that would pop in your head is that "I LOVE THE CLINTONS", isn't it? It won't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. But then Jann came to me one day and asked.......mom, do you think "she" will name her daughter Danielle also? "That's a possibility", I replied, BUT unfortunately she can't bear a girl. I told my babies (that includes Dale) they ought to be proud that someone took interest in their names hahaha. You know one time could be a "coincidence", BUT hey! the second time is "VERY OBVIOUS". I am not a "Liberal" so......."I don't like the Clintons" (sorry Bill, sorry Hillary, I just can't name my kids after you two and I can't name my next child after "Chelsea" either b/c I had my tube tied already hahaha).

Josef came home from school yesterday and as soon as he put down his knapsack he asked me if I had a minute. Sure, "I have half-a-day to listen", so he went on........"My classroom teacher called me to her desk at school, today! She showed me the result of my test and asked if I know what this exam was all about and how important it was to get a great result? I just shrugged my shoulder and told her, just a bit". So, she elaborate and went into details. Apparently, Josef took a "STAR Test" (which was given to all 5th graders trice a year). At first try all teachers could determine and monitor how students are improved throughout the year. He made 4.9 something at the beginning and it jumped to 12.6 the last time he was tested. So, our son reached the level of a "12th grader" which is astonishing to us much more to his teacher. He's the only one who got that highest score and for that his school will give him a recognition on Awards day. There's a lot more to it but I will save the rest for my later entry. Here's the slides from the fotos I took Friday during my kids Field Day. Josef's not on it b/c his happened later that day and he told us it didn't matter to him whether we showed up or not. It's only a Field Day. But on Awards Day our presence are expected. Are you still with me or did I make everybody to fall asleep hahaha? Hi Jeth, I'm not sorry to say that my household does not like the clintons and Im sure glad you dont have a bill or hillary running around! ha ha! Congratulations my dear on having another happiness of your son's success. I know exactly how you feel with your heart all-a-flutter. It does a mom proud when you see the success of your kids. You and I have high expectations of our kids. And I think it stems from the high expectations we have of ourselves. I think I can read you well because I am a lot like you in terms of parenting. You are a hard worker and so am I. And because of that, we lead our kids by example which speaks much louder than words. And like I always said, its nice to have a fast start with your older child because they will influence your younger children. Just like your Janna and my Grace. They see their older sibling doing well so they can't help but to strive to do the same. Congratulations again to your smart son and I'm glad you all had fun on Field day!!

Jeth, stars runs in the family for sure. I am just so thrilled that Josef had accomplished so many things at very young age. He's my star too. Just wait what Janna have in store for you. That would be interesting. I have this feeling she will be a genius also....

that is very sweet of your hubby to be there always for your kids. he seemed to be involved deeply in your kids daily life and their activities outside and inside the home. i am loving it to see your girl that close to him. {it's obvious} . this post sounds so funny and i can't help but laughs hehe. you're a smart fellow and i know you can figure out things very fast. just glad bill & hillary didn't lives within your family , chelsea didn't get the chance either. your son is truly a star not only because he possess high academic ability but also his name drew attention to "some"

I know how you feel about people who can't come up with their own originality. They must have none, otherwise they won't duplicate you dear. You can celebrate still because two stars was born through you.

wow that is awesome to have a star in the family. don't worry jeth cuz there's still a lot that can't be copied. at least you have enough sense not to go down to her level. some people just have a hallow inside and fuelled with jealousy. belated happy mommy's day. keep up the great work hon.
